The ocean liners between 1900 and 1939 represented the finest examples of steadily advancing technologies, artistic styles' evolutions from Victorian to Art Deco, and the growth of internatioanl travel that brought people together worldwide. It ended with World War 2. The post war new ship construction revival was short lived but resulted in several fine new ships including these on the seas in 1948.
